 that still

seventeen

look

 a fly

taking a ride on my leg

hot garden

 starlings

riding a breeze tree

blackbird serenade

i was sitting at the point on Langland bay watching the haiku flow in

i was sitting at the point on Langland bay watching the haiku flow in

that rock

it is moving

  • a cormorant!

hot day

the key under the stone

is very cold

fat tattooed man

sprays a fat tattooed woman

with sun cream

the sea and me

ten thousand haiku

write themselves

hot day

sitting above the sea

writing haiku

the sea whispers

above the hubbub of the beach

blue sky

warm day

waiting above the sea

for a thought

and he was like

and i was like

young girls

slowly

from behind the headland

a sail boat

in memoriam

a bouquet slowly fades

the tide turns

the sea

too coy to tell

so deep

promenade seat

conversations walking past

ships in the night

a fly

just buzzed in

to my haiku

 so many things

waiting along the parting

of the sand and sea

 summer morning

the rubbish collecting cart

smells just the same

 early morning

the reversing rubbish cart

is speaking welsh

 queen’s jubilee

at the end of an era
