midwinter haiku
settling on the snowy page
migrating thoughts
this or that poet
each under the bell jar
of his own times
overwarm room
the man lost in a snowstorm
points at yesterday
tomorrow’s soldier
seduced my today’s parade
just cannot wait
piano blues
my late father plays again
briefly
military guard
the falsified president
snaps a salute
reading your haiku
i write some haiku
our haiku
yes he was
choking on the incense
i offer a smile
suddenly
his weekly pill dispenser
forever half full
in a rush
to slow down
writing haiku
the fungus
that makes the ant climb
terrifies me
